From the beginning, our goal with this petition was to reach 500 signatures before today, September 10th, in hopes that the DA would listen to reason and dismiss the obviously false charges against Elder Freeman before the immunity hearing. Yesterday, we hit 500 signatures! Thanks to everyone for your signing and sharing.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that the petition has had any effect on the DA's office. Despite having clear evidence of innocence and a loud public outcry, they are simply Hell-bent on convicting an innocent person and sending him to prison. To be frank, we find them to be depraved and evil people lacking in any conscience. Presently, the DA's office is displaying an intent to fight dirty and not give Freeman's defense a single inch. It is truly shocking that they would work so hard in support of a twice-disgraced bad cop who violently attacked an innocent man and his child without provocation.

I think we should all remember that what the Georgia police-state is doing to Elder Freeman, they could soon do to any of us if we do not demand change now.

The hearing which had been scheduled for today did not take place and was rescheduled to a future date not-yet-announced, so there is hypothetically still time to convince the District Attorney George Christian and Assistant District Attorney Suzanne Boykin to change their minds. Even though we've passed our original goal, please continue to share the petition!
