Two weeks from today, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Elder Freeman will go to court for an immunity hearing. If prosecutors don't dismiss the charges before then, Elder Freeman's lawyer will be arguing that he is immune from prosecution because he had a right to resist an unlawful arrest and to defend himself when he was attacked.
