Are we still working on the campaign?

ABSOLUTELY, YES!

As you may have seen from previous updates, my MP has changed and all work on the campaign has been passed over to Andrew Western from Kate Green. I have had several conversations with Andrew and his team to determine the best way to move forward.  

At this moment in time. Andrew is reaching out to MPs who have told their constituents that they support the campaign, and he is also applying for a debate in the House of Commons. Unfortunately, the last application was denied, but I am informed that this is not unusual and is normally due to not enough time allotted in the House. However, Andrew is persisting, and hopefully we will be granted a debate in the near future. The outcome of the debate, will dictate what we do next.

I would love for cancer charities to get on board with the Campaign. Many of them prefer to have their own campaigns rather than support others which is upsetting. The exception to this have been Prevent Breast Cancer and Team Verrico are both very active in helping breast cancer patients.
