

As our campaign for the freeing of Boris Kagarlitsky and all other anti-war political prisoners in Russia becomes more broadly known it is picking up rapidly rising support, including from left and progressive elected representatives.
Among the latest to sign on are:
- Senator Larissa Waters, Australian Greens Leader in the Senate
- Paul Murphy, People Before Profit TD (MP) in the Dáil Éireann (lower house of the the Irish parliament)
- Max Chandler-Mather, Australian Greens MP in the House of Representatives (federal lower house)
- Miguel Urban Crespo, Podemos Member of the European Parliament (Spanish State)
Well-known labour movement activists who have added their support are:
· Baba Aye (pictured), Co-convenor of the Coalition for Revolution and Health and Social Services Officer, Public Services International (Nigeria)
· Dr Dale T McKinley, Research and Education Officer – International Labour, Research and Information Group (South Africa)
After running for a fortnight, the petition has gathered over 8000 signatures. Over 50% come from Russian signatories—in Russia and in exile—followed by English, Spanish and French signatories.
