Here since our last update Friends of Aras wanted to thank everyone for your continuing thoughts for Aras. We are sure some collective will does make a change. In April this year, Aras was granted a temporary leave for a few weeks from Evin prison. It came sadly just a few weeks after her grandmother's passing, yet Aras and all her family could be glad for this time. Since returning to Evin in May, we continue to wait and request review of Aras's unjust sentence.
Here a week ago family and friends from across the world (with the wonderful Alajotas Dance Company in Nigeria) released this song in solidarity for Aras and 'all the beautiful souls' - in Evin and no matter where who experience or are witness to unjust persecution. It had been inspired from the words of the Chinese dissident writer Liu Xiaobo his essays and poems, 'No Enemies, No Hatred'. Please share and enjoy...
