The mining permit has been GRANTED!

Dear friend, We just received notice that the mining permit has been granted and that the original permit application has been found to meet all the requirements. This is a really sad day for all who live at Furnace Mountain. While we are saddened to hear this, this is not the final word. We are having an emergency meeting tomorrow at 6:30pm at the CSEPP building in Stanton, 33 Commerce Drive. We have 30 days to appeal the decision and will be discussing our next steps.
