Shark Stewards is starting a letter writing campaign to respectfully request Fed Ex CEO Fred Smith to stop the shipments of shark fin as cargo. Shark fin is the single largest threat to large shark populations globally and facilitating the market is expediting their extinction.

We are asking supporters to use the email in the petition and send a personal note to appeal Fed Ex divestment of shark fin. Fins are the blood diamonds of the ocean and handling these fins is putting blood on the hands of Fed Ex staff. Moreover, the campaign has received several black eyes in the media and China lately and can use a positive action in the press.
