Thanks & Next Steps

Thank you so much to each and every one of you for signing the petition to save Wentworth. The pressure we have put on Foxtel has caused them to respond to the “rumours” by releasing a statement. It has also led multiple mainstream media outlets to break the story in the past week. We have momentum now so we need to keep it going. Keep sharing the petition on all forms of social media. Some other steps you can take include: * Contacting Foxtel via social media or phone to let them know how you feel. * Contacting Stan Australia, Netflix Australia or any of your local TV networks to encourage them to pick up the show for future seasons. * Let everyone know that if they wait for official confirmation from Foxtel it will be too late to save the show. I’ve been told that they won’t announce it until Season 7 airs by which time the set will be completely dismantled and it will be too expensive to set up again.
