on Monday June 15, 2020, Laura Ingraham referred to Dr. Fauci as “the medical deep state” claiming that science has become “obscenely politicized” while talking about Trumps upcoming rally that health officials have warned against as we are seeing spikes of COVID-19 cases around the country. In the segment she claims no one was worried about protesters spreading COVID, however there were many repeated warnings that they could increase infections, and states that “I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that these super-spreader events happen to exactly match the campaign rally that Trump had planned over the weekend.” Apparently not taking into account that the main reason for concern is the enclosed space with people not practicing any social distancing or wearing masks in close proximity to each other. She concludes  that Trump and his followers should just ignore the “alarmist drivel” and continue, even though the campaign itself is having those who attend sign a waiver stating that should they catch COVID or spread it to family, they will not sue Trump.
