Hello Supporters!
Last night 'The Big Leap' season one finale aired live on FOX. While I won't spoil the finale in the event not everyone was able to watch live, one of the main focuses of last night's episode was the planning of the show's second season. There were also plenty of cliffhangers left to be answered in season two.
With FOX reportedly not scheduled to make a decision on the fate of 'The Big Leap' until Spring 2022, now is the time for all of the "Leapers" to do our part to help get our beloved show renewed.
Here is how you can help:
- Sign the petition and share with at least 5 other people. We're almost to 100 supporters at the time this update was written. If all 100 supporters could each get 5 friends/family members/co-workers/neighbors/etc. to sign our petition we could get to 500 supporters very quickly. It is important for us to come out in full force early on with support as each signature gets sent to FOX.
- Stream 'The Big Leap' on FOXNow and/or Hulu. We want to show that even though the season one finale has already aired that 'The Big Leap' has a strong, engaged audience. Streaming the series online also gives the series another boost in ratings in the "streaming" category, every rating counts.
- Email FOX and tell them that the fans want a second season of 'The Big Leap'. You can email them at askfox@fox.com with the subject line "Renew The Big Leap for Season 2". -- Please be respectful in your emails.
- Call FOX and let them know that the fans want 'The Big Leap' renewed for season two. Their comment line is 310-369-7069. -- Please be respectful with your calls and messages.
- Write to FOX. If writing is more your thing you can write to FOX at FOX Broadcasting Co. P.O. Box 900 Beverly Hills, CA 90212. -- Please be respectful in your letters.
- Show your support on social media. Tweet to @FOXTV and let them know that you want to see 'The Big Leap' renewed for season two. Be sure to use the hashtag #RenewTheBigLeap on any comment/tweet/post when discussing 'The Big Leap'.
The show creator, Liz Heldens, did an interview with Deadline yesterday ahead of the season one finale. In her interview, she said that they are "very hopeful about a season two". She also said that the show does well on Hulu which gives us hope that we will get a second season of the show. As of right now, we are only petitioning to FOX for 'The Big Leap' to be renewed. However, we may add Hulu to our petition as well so give us an extra chance for renewal.
We can do this fellow "leapers". The only thing preventing us from having our favorite show renewed right now are petition supporters. The more supporters we have, the more noise we make and the more likely FOX is to renew 'The Big Leap'. #RenewTheBigLeap
