Remove their song "Pumped Up Kicks" from radio stations

Remove their song "Pumped Up Kicks" from radio stations
The Issue
Foster the People released a song entitled "Pumped Up Kicks" on September 14, 2010. It has been broadcasted in 11 different countries across the world; Australia, Belgium, Canada,
France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland, Switzerland, UK, and US.
The lyrics of this song are atrocious. The song is about a homicidal teen who proceeds to steal his father's gun to shoot people. The band wanted the song to bring attention to this problem. But with its catchy melody and soft spoken vocals, many people who just listen to the song have no idea what the song is truly about.
The song is rated 15+. It is played on the radio at all times of the day. In the light of school and other shootings done by teens and young adults, this song is not what America or anyone around the world needs to hear.
