We the undersigned join with the Fort Myers Skatepark Foundation urging you to approve the funding, construction, and maintenance of a modern, public, low-maintenance skatepark within the City of Fort Myers. We represent skateboarders, inline skaters, BMXers, parents, business owners, and citizens and patrons of the city. This park will bring additional revenue into the city and surrounding businesses by way of skatepark users, parents of users, and the potential venue for sanctioned competitions, which will bring revenue to the lodging, restaraunts, and entertainment industries.
