Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. We have had a load of views and nearly 30 signatures, which is understandable as most visions and ideas start this way. Those of you on board already and showing support you have created so much value. Your signatures will help me prove worth in saving the pub and creating the hub. And with every single signed response, evidence is gathered and impact made. So thank you all, immensely grateful for the support and overwhelmed with the willingness to create impact you have shown.

Might very well not be such a wacky idea after all!

This morning I have been speaking to all forms of resource providers and am on the task of responding to everyone.

I feel it is Helpful and apt to share this chunk of writing I have just finished writing on a business Wales submission.

Cic is a non-profit charity hub. Taking on a local pub and transforming it into a community hub and charity operation centre. Creating job growth, targeting rural isolation and poverty and focusing on creativity, community and sustainable innovation and living.

The Pub is The Trewern Arms in Nevern, Pembrokeshire. Soon to be lost to Liquidation results. The community are behind saving the pub, i have begun a campaign for a wider community to show willingness, interest and gather the need to form a charity hub.

The Idea being form a hub at the pub, run local events, ofhire already established spaces to already established buisnesses and charities that line up with goals ond values of the ' Dda Good Hwb ' mission, which is to create spaces and programs that help form community support, community opertunity, community assets and to create forms of creative industry, places of relief and sanctuary. and to expand with the mission to rekindle local food production and distribution, create a form of living agreements with established farms, that help farmers keep afloat and people in need of housing have somewhere to live and to feel empowered by that and to be able to directly contribute to some of the work that is necessary for the dwellings to exist.

The Initial Phase One projects in mind are:

Creative Hub - filling a workshop with tools and equipment that give individuals who want to start in, build a micro business in, crafts, sustainable repairing and building, and micro product industries. Having the tools and workbenches in a space that can be well managed by a group of project leads, workshop technicians. Giving people the power to hone in skills, design, prototype and build, create local produce and crafts. Grassroots launchpad space, for all things creative, a space where you can start up and run your small creative business, store materials, rent benches or work for the charity in exchange for bench time.

Social/ active hub - This is a combination of gathering already established providers, local charities, local businesses that provide activity, adventure, therapy, support groups and forming an in-house program of activities and engagements both inside the Treweryn arm hub in any of the function spaces or outside courtyard space. This initiative is to help relieve overwhelmed and established charities that deal with vulnerable, isolated people, and the many challenges of mental health battles. Form support groups, to help offer direct companionship, involving activities and social events to bring people out of the place of isolation and to re-establish community and help nurture the value of engaging projects and community-oriented gathering and supporting!
The Treweryn Arms, is a large space, that has accomidation within, function rooms and a large event space that can be utilised in many dynamic ways, subletting this space to a combination of charities runing rigid programs, charities we will work with, small buisnesses and providers of programs will help generate income for the asset as well as build a funding pool for the charity and exspanssion of projects, supporting growth, and reaching futher with supporting people, heling, fixing and generating jobs and healthy minds who can get back into life, work and sociaty feeling held, supported and that they have somewhwere to turn.

Network, Fundraise, Connect hub. - This project for networking, creating transport to support, running events for awareness and fundraising!
The Trewern Ams will offer a great mixture of dynamic spaces to allow this project to form and run. Forming a team of people who can manage and provide all you need to have a successful networking event, awareness event, or fundraising event! will bring people closer to what is already happening in Pembrokeshire and the surrounding counties. The space has the correct facilities to facilitate this and with a clear purpose to regenerate local food and other produce production and distribution. using the restaurant as both a managed and leased space for food providers to utilise for showcasing. For local farmers and growers to gather, network and formulate strategies to create a healthy and localised food network. a Hub that stands strong in supporting local! and the sustainable reality and impact of that. With the Many breweries and distilleries in the local area and in Wales to choose from, showcasing this and standing strong in the provision of this in a bid to showcase and initiate sustainable sourcing!

These three projects are ones that can be established, managed and run from the Treweryn Arms.
The goal is to bridge the divide of support available, from those doing okay to those in crisis. Catching people before they fall, offering support, direction and solutions to those who will soon need it. and those who have come back from need and want to give back!

To create our community before all resources are tapped, established providers are overwhelmed beyond recovery. To support the health and public sector in saving and building our society. from our rural communities, hope and opportunity, and the reality of needing to act now!
Hubs like this are a proactive measure to a real situation we are all dealing with, it is no longer as diluted and as distant as to be able to ignore.

Saving pub, creating a hub, running phase one can lead to so much.
It will take funding initially, but phase two is a plan to create more income, sustainably generate a network in this rural setting re form an industry out of rural living.

Save the people, people save themselves, the hub provides a launchpad, the projects provide direction, relief, the hub provides sanctuary and actionable space, the charity provides hope and aims for binding what is established and doing okay with what is failing and should stay to what can be when we come together.

Phase 2 is to soundly form the production network!
Bid for larger funding resources to create a wider impact.
begin an industry and project of micro home forming to combat the housing crisis and to upskill people, bring into the area an industry proposal of sustainable materials and housing. The hemp industry, the reclamation industry.

As farmers lose more land to debt that can't be repaid. That land is sold off to external sources from faraway lands, to build housing estates, Solar panel farms it offer more places for people to live, More electricity to be sold for corporations, without more jobs and future work for the people living here! Putting more pressure on the resources of health, support, Public offices and councils. Less local income and budget management.  The 2 hospitals locally are near collapse, we don't need more houses out of the farming land, we need more efficient Housing solutions, more lenient living solutions, so farms can diversify and provide without losing our food production! forcing us to import less healthy, more environmentally impactful food from far away, causing a clear and direct impact to the Welsh economy, UK economy!

Diving into a sustainable industry like the hemp industry. Growing a high-yielding, fortified crop and creating a manufacturing industry here out of the land that still exists as arable land Could give Hope, keep balance in the economy, save the environment and give established, experienced farmers an option of diversification that will allow them financial relief to better grow, rear our food, and help form local food distribution and restore rural economy.

Hemp is already being established in the UK as an industrial material and could serve as a clear initiative to generate growth.

The idea behind one hub is to create impact, create change and create opportunity, by healing, supporting and giving opportunity to our local community with a wider goal to help create a bigger impact if that proves actionable!

Thank you for the time spent diving into this with me.
I am currently talking to all available resources that could help make this happen, with pencilled in conversations and ideas form with local people, small businesses and established charities on how we can take on the Treweryn and utilise it as an asset such as this.

A good example of how a space can really become something diverse and impactful is, in fact, the Crymych arms!
And the Treweryn arms offers more available space and assets already, without the need for big expenses and renovations.

The entry was too long, so I had to use Chat GBT to refine, Felt correct to send you the raw stuff.

Thank you all again. I have project proposals and documents all coming together. I will input them individually as petition supports or individual petitions soon.

For now, keep your involvement, flow through ideas, showcase your talents and where you can see yourself getting involved, what you feel you want out of such an idea, start sharing who you are and where you would love to be come this spring, the real beginning of our year ;) Contrevertial.

I have limiting factors I am juggling, personal injury, and are needing to implement a plan and seek, gain support as well as stay mentally on track with this all! So apologies for gaps in between correspondence, this will all begin to flow soon, I can feel it truly!
