Many people don't realize this: PPP loan borrowers can get full forgiveness if they met basic payroll requirements—some in just 15 minutes by using the SBA’s forgiveness portal. 

But for EIDL borrowers, there is no forgiveness option. Only temporary hardship plans some as low as $25/month but it still means a lifetime of debt for small business owners who were just trying to survive.

This petition asks the SBA to show the same compassion to EIDL borrowers as they did to PPP borrowers.
