I recently received a response from the SBA, and as expected, they reiterated their stance that EIDL loans are “not forgivable under congressional statute.” But that’s exactly why we must continue pushing for change. We are not just asking for assistance—we are demanding fairness, relief, and a policy shift that acknowledges the ongoing hardship many small business owners face.
