In the headlines, Energy Companies are making record profits, and are not reducing prices any time soon!
You have to ask why this is so when State Governments are the major shareholders for Electricity Companies in each State, such as Energex in Queensland.
Yet, they can't afford to refund the access fees they charge victims of natural disasters when they turn the electricity off?
