Hello,
This is my contribution to Citizen's Discussion at Tuesday's City Council meeting:
Good morning,
A few months ago I reached out the the District Attorney's Office of the 4th Judicial District and asked them to help me.
I told them that I had been asking the city to tell me the estimated cost of the needed repairs on the section of the Barr Trail that the city acquired in the land swap.
I told them that I began asking this question during the public comment process in 2016.
I also told them that my sources have informed me that the land needs $1,000,000 or more in repairs and that I believe that the appraisal submitted for this land by the Broadmoor is invalid because the cost of the repairs were not provided to the appraisers.
Has the city been contacted by the District Attorney's Office about this issue?
Has the District Attorney's Office communicated an opinion on the legitimacy of the appraisal?
Thank you, Carl Strow
