This is my contribution to Citizen's Discussion at Tuesday's City Council meeting:

Good morning,

At the City Council meeting on September 10th, 2019, I was told that my questions about the land swap had already been answered.

I was told this by Councilman Andy Pico, Council President Richard Skorman and Mayor's Chief of Staff Jeff Greene.

This is documented in the video from that meeting. It can be seen at the two hour and thirteen-minute mark.

What is the city's position today?

Does the city claim that my questions about the land swap have already been answered?

Does the city say that those three city officials made a mistake that day?

How much will it cost to have a drainage study done on the land we acquired from the Cog Railway?

How much will it cost to implement the recommended drainage work once the study is done?

How much will it cost to replace the fence along the Barr Trail on that land?

How much will it cost to repair the erosion damage on that land?

What is the total cost of these, and all other repairs needed on that land?

I do not recall receiving answers to these questions.

I feel that city officials intentionally intimidated me and that my character was defamed by the Mayor's Office and City Council that day.

They alleged that I was being stupid or obstinate, asking questions over and over that had already been answered.

The truth is that I discovered legal flaws in the land swap and as a Citizen I have a duty to hold the city accountable.

Would it be a crime for city officials to conspire to humiliate me publicly and lie to deter me from exposing a legal flaw in a multi-dollar transaction that involves publicly owned land?

Was that action premeditated?

Had those, and or other city officials, discussed plans to try to get rid of me in advance?

Did mayor Suthers or City Attorney Massey know that I was going to be told that my questions had already been answered before the meeting on September 10th, 2019?

Please provide me with the estimated cost of each individual category of repairs needed on that land as well as the total estimated cost of all necessary repairs.
