The VMD called Shadow's story "Vexatious" to hide Librela data. I need 106 more signatures to break through!
Dear Supporters,
Shadow lost his brave fight on 30th May 2026, but I am still fighting for him every single day. I will never stop demanding transparency for what this drug did to him.
Recently, I legally submitted a Freedom of Information (FOI) request to the UK Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD). I asked them a direct, critical safety question: Has the regulator actually reviewed physical medical imaging (like joint X-rays) to investigate why Librela is causing rapid joint breakdown and paralysis in our pets?
Their response? They REFUSED to answer me.
The VMD officially slapped a legal "vexatious" label on my request, claiming that answering questions about Shadow's case poses a "disproportionate burden" and an "excessive strain on their resources." When I pushed them for an explanation, they claimed the request wasn’t mine.
They clump our dead pets into spreadsheet statistics to call these catastrophic side effects "rare." And when a grieving owner asks for the medical proof, they treat our grief as an annoyance.
How you can help right now:
I am currently sitting at 4,894 signatures. I need exactly 106 more people to hit the 5,000 milestone.
Once I hit 5,000, Change.org’s algorithm is forced to push Shadow’s petition onto their main trending dashboard, exposing the VMD's cover-up to millions of new people worldwide.
Please do two things today:
Share this update to your own Facebook, X, or Instagram pages.
Forward this email to just two friends who love animals and ask them to sign.
They wanted to exhaust me into giving up, but they underestimated how much Shadow was loved. Let's hit 5,000 today and take this fight directly to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Thank you for standing with Shadow.
