Los Altos library plans to offer all gender multi-stall and all gender single stall restrooms only. A petition was started to request women’s/girl’s and boy’s/men’s restrooms in addition to all gender options.

Libraries are an amazing place to bring together people of all ages, genders and walks of life. It would be wonderful if they could include girls and boys single gender restrooms. It is intimidating for a child to approach a single gender restroom with adults in it. Let’s make it comfortable for everyone that goes to the library!

We appreciated that PAUSD offered children boys and girls restrooms in addition to multi-stall all gender restrooms after we created this petition.  Cities and Districts will listen to the community, but we must share our feedback.
