Hi everyone - it's that lovely slightly mad time of year when thoughts turn to family and friends and all the busyness of getting ready for Christmas. 

This is one of my beautiful identical twin grandsons, absorbed and happy, digging in the sand at Greens. It was taken in spring. Locals know better than to waste time and energy trying to get a park or a beach pozzy during summer.

All I want for Christmas is to have this beautiful coast properly protected, not exploited for tourism $$, visitor numbers maintained at current levels during peak season, ecosystems preserved. I want this place that nurtures and restores us kept safe and intact for my grandchildren and yours, for generations to come. These rare places are more important than ever in a world that is on the brink.
