Too many couples and families between Nigeria and Germany are being kept apart because of non-transparent visa decisions.

Even when all requirements are fully met – invitation letter, financial proof, return ticket, travel insurance – tourist or visit visas are often rejected with the same vague reason: “lack of willingness to return.”

This practice unfairly affects binational couples who simply want to visit each other in person to maintain their relationship or plan their future together.

This is not about immigration — it’s about humanity, trust, and the fundamental right to choose whom you love and how you live your life (Article 2 of the German Basic Law, Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights).

We therefore demand:

Transparent and specific explanations for all visa refusals — no more standard rejection letters.

Fair and accessible review procedures for rejected applicants.

Simplified procedures for genuine couples and family visits.
Individual assessments of return willingness instead of unfair generalizations or stereotypes.

Love knows no borders — but the current system creates them unnecessarily.
Every relationship deserves the chance to meet in person before deciding about a shared future.

We are so many in our Community who even cant see each other or fighting since 6 years for their love where are the human rights why Nigeria is treated so bad that we cant to live our life freely and in Love and peace? They havent even seen each other because the goverment is deny the visa and say he will not go back its a lie we only want to show our partner or husband our country nothing more but they say to us we are not trustfull or worth to get the visa bot the money is gone.

There have to be new roules to get haf back of the money if its deny and you will get back the flight tikets because this you have to book before.
