Force the York City board to reduce unreasonable ticket prices to avoid losing fans

The Issue

York city have decided to increase ticket prices ahead of the 2019/20 season following the clubs lowest ever finish in its near 100 year history. The prices have been increased due to the brand new Community Stadium but it has caused many fans to consider/ decide not to come to games because it is simply unreasonable to expect people to pay such prices to watch 6th tier football.

These prices will ruin the clubs fanbase, decrease income due to less people buying tickets and therefore less people paying in the fanzine, club shop and bars in the stadium. Not only this, but it will affect the teams performances as it will be detrimental to the atmosphere in what is already a deteriorating fanbase.

If enough people can sign this, the club may consider decreasing prices as they may realise the potential effects of these high prices
