"HHS is on it!"

We have posted a story on the user fee in the news section at WhiskyCast.com. Becky Harris of Catoctin Creek Distilling (a WhiskyCast sponsor) is the president of the American Craft Spirits Association, and told us in an interview that the chief of staff to the Health and Human Services Secretary called her and told her that "HHS is on it." We also have a statement from the FDA noting that Congress approved the fees last March as part of the CARES Act and did not include any provisions for a waiver.
