Today marks the 2nd day of the nation wide strike in Venezuela. 106 Venezuelans have died in the protests against the Maduro regime. No word on Ruperta's health. Meanwhile, the World Wildlife Fund reports that 20 thousand elephants are killed every year. An average of 55 elephants per day. If we accept that life is sacred then we must stand up and support the Venezuelan people in their fight for democracy. If we accept that life is sacred, we can not let Ruperta die forgotten in the middle of Venezuela's crisis. Sign this petition and let the world know what is happening in Venezuela. Let the world know how the Venezuelan people are fighting for democracy to survive. Let the world know that kind hearted citizens of the world will not ignore the plight of fellow human beings and fellow souls like Ruperta. We can not afford to lose one more elephant. We can not ignore her suffering or the suffering of the Venezuelan people. Fuerza y Fe pueblo hermano de Venezuela!
