Recently, the cancellation of a two-year long male contraceptive study made media headlines because the side effects of the shot were deemed "too severe." However, the side effects the males experienced undertaking the drug are the same for females. It has been this way for decades.

Rather than ostracizing men for the double-standard, or complaining of the unfairness, I urge you to sign this petition to help me - and the next generation of young girls crippled by the female condition - tell our leaders that we need better contraceptive.

That we deserve better contraceptive and should not be expected to undergo the same, often debilitating, side effects when our male counterparts were not upheld to the same standards.

Medicine is ever-advancing, and with some research, I believe a difference can be made.
