Jim Speaks @ Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission Meeting

Jim Abernethy speaks at FWC meeting about Florida's red tide issue.

The red tide epidemic in Florida is primarily due to the high nutrient loading caused by four decades of Government sanctioned aquatic plant management as well as the 2017's 250% increase of the active ingredient glyphosate and 25% increase in the gallons sprayed to nearly 1 million gallons a year.

We must end Glyphosate and other chemical use. These chemicals are sprayed into our drinking water and aquifers!

We must switch to mechanical harvest now and end this archaic means of plant management that is destroying our own health as well as the planet! Everyone in Florida has been exposed to Glyphosate for decades! Help bring an end to the state-sanctioned spraying of glyphosate in Florida's waterways once and for all!

Glyphosate has been linked to certain cancers and the exponential growth of many chronic diseases in humans, as well the death of NON-TARGET species, such as native aquatic plants, amphibians, pollinators, fish, mammals, reptiles and even sharks, turning Florida into a huge DEAD ZONE. Florida has the most diverse range of flora and fauna in the United States and it's currently all at risk due to GMO'S and Aquatic Plant Management It's up to us to use our voices to protect our greatest natural resources, our only home EARTH!
