I have changed the wording of the petition to further this cause.  1 million dollar bond on all murder charges should be a minimum amount imposed on the accused to receive bond when facing a murder conviction and the Judge should not have discretion at giving a lower bond amount. In changing the wording of this petition it is more likely to receive the number of signatures to go on the ballot.  There will be great resistance in getting this on the ballot if it is worded no bond at all.  The 8th Amendment to the United States Constitution states, "Excessive bail shall not be required," thus establishing bail as a constitutional right. I do not think a 1 million dollar bond is excessive when you consider the crime.
