On May 6, 2026, I will be meeting with Deborah Tendrich to push forward critical legislation aimed at protecting victims of domestic violence in Florida.
Representative Tendrich has a history of advocating for public health and community safety, including awareness and prevention efforts surrounding domestic violence. This meeting is an opportunity to take that commitment a step further—toward real, enforceable change.
We will be discussing the creation of a Florida Domestic Violence Offender Registry, modeled after proven legislation in other states, to increase accountability, transparency, and victim protection.
Survivors deserve more than awareness—they deserve action.
This conversation is about:
Holding repeat offenders accountable
Protecting children and families
Closing the gaps that allow abuse to continue
Tennessee lit the match. Florida is next.
