In just 30 hours we have been able to obtain 802 signatures! This petition will continue until our State of Florida Government and ACHA approves an exemption in licensing for the Russell Home to continue.
Did you know that NAPO which is The National Association of Professional Organizers honored the Russell home with the Organizing Exellence Award?
Russell Home’s organizing success
Since 1951, the Russell Home for Atypical Children has provided services to as many as 25 severely handicapped children from birth to 63 years old at any given time. The Russell Home is self-sufficient and independently funded. Therefore, good organizing skills are a key in the nonprofit group’s success. Financial support is derived primarily from the operation of a thrift shop and a teahouse, as well as private donations and volunteer assistance.
