9 year old Boxer, Cindy, was lost from her home on 12/31/18. Found by Pasco Animal Control on 1/11/19, she was transferred to fostering on 1/12/19 instead of being displayed for public claim. On 1/15/19, Florida Boxer Rescue officially took legal ownership. On 1/16/19, the owner called Pasco to report they had become aware the dog was found. The rescue made claims of care concerns that were not documented at animal control and the rightful owner provided all veterinary records to prove they are a loving home including a letter that the dog is properly cared for BY THEIR VET. The rescue has not returned the dog. Numerous rescues have tried to reason with their moral apptitude but Florida Boxer Rescue continues to hold the dog hostage.
