Delta announced today in an internal email that they will begin boarding pay in June!!!

It is only a small percentage of their full rate, and it feels like there will need to be some clarification, but it is a massive step in the right direction.

Delta's employees have been pushing very hard for a union so I wonder how this change came to be and how it will affect their negotiations. If you have more information, please feel free to email me jane@paymeforboarding.org

From what I understand American Airlines and Alaska Airlines are also in negotiations for a new contract at this time. My hope is that this helps with their bargaining agreement.

I also hope these new changes help the regional flight attendants at these airlines!
