Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared this petition so far. In just four days, over 200 residents, business owners, and equestrians have spoken up demanding that the City of Los Angeles take immediate action to fix the dangerous speeding and lack of signage on Sunland Boulevard.
We’ve submitted the full safety report to Council District 7 and LADOT, filed a Public Records Act request for all collision data since 2015. CD7 area representative has acknowledged the receipt of our investigation. Still, LADOT has not responded, and every day without action increases the risk of another serious crash.
The most dangerous stretch, the eastbound curve approaching Wheatland Avenue, remains completely unmarked, with no warning signs and substandard visibility. We’re calling for immediate installation of curve warnings, speed feedback signs, and inclusion in the 2026 Speed Safety Camera Pilot before another serious injury or lost life.... God forbid.
Please continue to share this petition with your neighbors, local businesses, and community groups. Consistency beats intensity! We can't afford to leave this matter unresolved.
