Hello all,

Yesterday, I spent several hours reaching out to local business owners and residents across Columbia. What started as a mission to improve parking for delivery drivers quickly grew into something much bigger.

I realized this isn’t just a delivery driver issue—it’s an everyone issue.

• Local businesses are struggling because customers can’t find accessible or affordable parking.
• Students are finding it harder every day to make it to class due to limited and expensive parking near campus.
• People with disabilities are having their designated spaces misused or blocked.
• Visitors and tourists are avoiding areas like Downtown and Five Points because of confusing signs and high meter costs.

Because of all this, I’ve decided to expand the mission of this petition:

Let’s work together to make parking in Columbia better for EVERYONE.
