On 5th November 2018, VoiceoverPete, a former Fiverr creator, uploaded a video to YouTube announcing that Fiverr had mysteriously banned him from the site without prior warning, and without any effort being made to explain the reason for suspension. All despite him previously having gained over 7000 orders and being promoted heavily by Fiverr in their advertising campaigns.

On 19th January 2019, VoiceoverPete also revealed that despite Fiverr closing his account without any explanation, they have refused to pay out the thousands of dollars he had previously earned before being suspended from the service.

This is money earned by Pete over many hours of hard work, and Fiverr has no right to withhold this money from him any longer! We demand Fiverr pays VoiceoverPete all money he earned prior to his ban and offers him an explanation surrounding the closure of his account, as well as a full public apology.
