Hello all! Firstly, can I thank you all *so* much for your support in this campaign. As your comments to the petition have showed, the restrictions upon children and young people on public transport have had serious consequences. Fortunately, it appears that FirstGroup and FirstCymru have listened to our voices, and announced today that 'all restrictions - currently in place - regarding the purchase day tickets for children and those under 19 before 9.30am will be removed. From 4 January children and young people able to buy day tickets direct from the driver at any time of day, paying the appropriate child / young person fare'. As I'm sure you will all agree, this is a brilliant step forwards (or rather, back to where we started!).
