The Flyers Faithful are calling on Comcast Spectacor, The Philadelphia Flyers, Dan Hilferty, Keith Jones, and Daniel Briere to take immediate action and relieve current Head Coach Rick Tocchet and his entire coaching staff of their duties. 

Rick Tocchet has shown a history of disruption and incompetence as bench boss. While in Tampa, Arizona, Vancouver, and now Philadelphia, he has shown that he is incapable of: developing young talent, preparing a team during the rigors of a season, roster management, and keeping healthy player coach relationships.

Rick Tocchet's coaching system and coaching philosophies are synonymous with slow starts, underperformance, low goal scoring, and unwatchable hockey. There is no room for offensive creativity within his system. The fans of this team deserve a better product and the players deserve to provide it. The head coach cites a lack of talent as the issue while having players like Travis Konecny, Trevor Zegras, Owen Tippett, Matvei Michkov, and Denver Barkey at his disposal. He has shown time and time again that he is not capable of properly preparing his players to perform for a full 60 minute game.

Rick Tocchet has also shown a habit of airing out his displeasures with players via the media which is especially troubling. From his rifts with JT Miller and Elias Pettersson, his mishandling of Clayton Keller, and now his public rift with Matvei Michkov. His comments at the Flyers Wives Carnival cannot go unchecked. Rick angrily stated he "goes down swinging." Well, Rick, Philly can chuck them with the best of them.

Rick Tocchet's inability to perform the required tasks of a Head Coach have been evident early within his coaching tenure and cannot be allowed to continue. We're urging you to act now to prevent The Flyers Organization from continuing to slide down a slippery slope and right this ship. 

Us Flyers Fans are patient, we are in this for the long haul. We do not expect Playoffs or a Stanley Cup to happen overnight. We will wait as long as we need and support you every step of the way, no matter how long this rebuild takes. We love this team and want nothing more than to watch Flyers Hockey. We bleed Orange and Black. What we will not support, is what is currently happening under Rick Tocchet. It is disgusting, unprofessional, and a downright disgrace to everything being a Flyer stands for and what Ed Snider has built.
