**PUBLIC RECORD RELEASE** 
SAGE FENTON: 911 CALL October 1, 2022

Attached is the ”THIS IS NOT A BIG EMERGENCY” 911 call made by the neighbor of Sage Fenton, our NOW DEAD family member. 
“I just need to talk to someone about a dog on the loose.”  This phone call contributes to a series of tragic events against the Fenton family. To begin with, why did the dispatcher not recognize there was no emergency? Why was the SPCA/ Animal Control not alerted? 

*Note: “It is unlawful for an individual who is not seeking public safety assistance, is not providing 911 service, or is not responding to a 911 call to access or attempt to access the 911 system for a purpose other than an EMERGENCY communication. A person who knowingly violates this section commits a Class 1 MISDEMEANOR.”

**AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2022, THE DAY SAGE WAS  MURDERED:

•ANDY STEWART, KH TOWN MANAGER: “Suddenly resigns” within a few weeks of Sage’s murder.

•OFFICER MACON: Meador’s Partner and KHPD arresting officer, swiftly transfers to Nags Head PD.

**ROBERT “MAC” MEADOR** Sage’s killer, former KHPD arresting officer, still within his probationary period, lists his brand new home for sale and moves himself out of North Carolina. **MEADOR is now back on the police force in Morgantown, West Virginia.** This is what happens when an officer is not held accountable for wrongful actions and is protected by a police force that is ultimately protecting themselves.

• 4 OTHER OFFICERS have left KHPD since Sage was murdered on October 1st.

• KHPD CHIEF JOEL JOHNSON RETIRES.

**A TOTAL OF -8 TURNOVERS- within The Town of Kitty Hawk and KHPD since Sage was Murdered.**

Sage had NO RECORD OF AGGRESSION! No Bite History. Sage was not aggressive. Sage did not bite. 

“Our Animal Control has a 24/7 phone and it is always answered. We did not receive a call that day. We handle dangerous dog calls on a regular basis and always expect to get bite reports anytime that happens anywhere in Dare County.”
