Dear Neighbor,

As we have been warning for the past three months, illegally parked RVs on Flickinger Ave are creating a serious fire hazard. The latest fire occurred last night (2/22/2025) near the RV and truck camp (see photo above). Another fire also took place a few months ago—check the video section of the online petition for details.

The City and Police have been issuing warnings for these RVs to leave many other residential area, but not for Flickinger Ave RVs. We have been sending weekly reminders to Mayor Matt and David Cohen, City Council member, urging action to be taken! With the devastation caused by wildfires that have destroyed hunders of homes in Los Angeles, what is the City of San Jose waiting for before they act to protect this neighborhood?
