Dear Supporters,

While many of the illegally parked RVs have been removed, we still see at least 5-6 RVs parked illegally on the other side of Flickinger Avenue, near the 7-11. This incomplete work by San Jose City officials raises concerns that more RVs could soon return. Two weeks ago, police were in the area, and notices were issued to these RVs, but no further action has been taken since then.

Additionally, we’ve now noticed tents, makeshift barbecue areas, and camping setups appearing near these RVs. In one instance, emergency cones were even used to block a lane of oncoming traffic.

We urge the police and city officials to take immediate action to prevent further safety risks, traffic accidents, and fire hazards. The situation needs to be fully resolved, and continuous enforcement is crucial to ensuring this does not escalate again.

Please email decision makers who are listed in the petition and asking to complete what they started two weeks ago.
