If Liverpool manage to get knocked out to THIRD-TIER BARNSLEY, then it is HIGH TIME that us fans declared the final straw!

It is less than twenty-four hours before Liverpool play Barnsley in the FA Cup. Yet, as a Liverpool fan, I am anxious. That's right: I am worried that Liverpool, champions of England not even a full year ago, could lose to third-tier Barnsley at Anfield in a one-way tie.

I, and any Liverpool fan who shares my sentiment, have all reason to be worried. After last season's dignity-damaging defeat to Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup, and the toothless showing against Crystal Palace in this season's EFL Cup, Liverpool fans no longer go into games with hope and confidence. Instead, many fans watch the games with doubt, weariness, and fear, and this has spread to the Liverpool team. Slot now goes into games with a set-up prepared to minimize damage, rather than to actually try for three points.

Ask yourself this, Liverpool fans. Do you want to watch and/or attend Liverpool games with fear of defeat and humiliation? Do you want to see your team bracing themselves for a thrashing every match, with few to no shots on goal? Do you want to see "Slotball" every game for the rest of this already-awful season?

I have been calling for Slot to be fired for almost two months. I know that not everybody agrees with me. However, at one point, the fear, humiliation, lack of identity, cowardice, boringness, stubbornness, and repetitive football needs to stop. If Liverpool manage to get knocked out to THIRD-TIER BARNSLEY, then it is HIGH TIME that us fans declared the final straw and call for Arne Slot's immediate removal.
