The Fiji Bus Operators Association demands for an unreasonable bus fare raise. A drastic raise of Stage 1 fares from $0.68 to $1.00 and with other stages also being increased in an alarming rate. Imagine how average households will afford that on a daily basis. While the government is doing a lot to assist average earning households it is highly unlikely of the general public to find other means of transportation.
