265 THE RIDGEWAY Planning Application Reference: P/1492/20

Facing enormous opposition to their development, the Brethren have recently submitted a revised plan with the new title of Pavillion(!) The Ridgeway.  In 20 years it has never been referred to as this before.

The application can be viewed on the Harrow Council website, however,  the elevation illustrations are not marked according to where they are on the plan drawings, making it very difficult to make any sense of!  

Such a large, unpopular development should be accessible on a scale plan at the Council offices and not rushed through with excuses about Covid-19 regulations.

The revised plan shows a reduction from 195 dwellings to 178 with no detail of how this has been achieved but the proposal still includes ?  blocks ranging between 3 and 7 storeys, with a small number (??) of three storey town houses.

Strength of feeling is very high and up until the Corona virus we had collected 600 signatures on paper, together with this online version giving us well over 2,000 names.

Harrow Council planners are sending out notification of the revised proposal to interested individuals with a deadline for comments of July 13th.  This date may not be exact as I have not received any notification yet.  One elderly man who lives nowhere near the development and my postman, who knew nothing about it at all, have been contacted though!  Is this incompetence or deliberate?
