Today marks two years since the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan, imposing severe restrictions and bans on women and girls in nearly every aspect of their lives. 

Within a week, the FIFA Women's World Cup will end without any commitment from FIFA about the fate of Afghanistan's Women's National Team. Can we use our voices to send a strong message to FIFA?

We, the players of the Afghanistan women's national football team, were forced to flee our homeland simply for playing the sport we love. Now, we stand in Australia, sidelined and unheard, as FIFA remains silent.
