Thank you so much for signing. In the 24 hours since I started this petition, the corruption in FIFA has dominated international news and over 30,000 everyday fans from around the world have joined me in asking for Blatter to be removed from the Presidency! The tide has definitely turned against Blatter; the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, has said that Blatter should stand down; Michel Platini (Head of UEFA) has asked for his resignation; and VISA, one of FIFA’s leading sponsors, has also spoken out forcefully against the them. Earlier today they issued a statement saying that if FIFA doesn’t make changes they will have to reassess their sponsorship. FIFA’s other lead sponsors are Coca Cola, McDonalds, Budweiser, Hyundai and Adidas. Whilst none of them condone FIFA’s actions, VISA is the only one doing something to encourage them to clean up their act. We need to change this. Please, can you all take a moment to tweet at these sponsors asking them to take a stand, and say they will drop their sponsorship if Sepp Blatter is re-elected tomorrow. Links to their twitter pages are here: https://twitter.com/cocacola https://twitter.com/hyundai https://twitter.com/budweiser https://twitter.com/mcdonalds https://twitter.com/adidas The Presidential Elections are tomorrow. That gives us 24 hours to do everything we can to make sure that FIFA doesn’t take Blatter back! Pressure from their sponsors will definitely shape FIFA’s decision. Let’s make sure the sponsors are with us on this! Pete @Remove_Blatter
