Us sufferers all know too well that we receive very little, in the way of support from the government and healthcare system and are often misdiagnosed, due to a lack of understanding of the disease. But what I do know is that there are people lobbying on your behalf with this petition and that there is support groups out there :)

Below are the official and recognised members of the FibroIreland Network.

We act in partnership and support with each other.
All listed groups are currently undergoing training to ensure full compliance with the incoming Charity Regulatory Authority Good Governance regulations. All groups are fully compliant with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Carlow Fibromyalgia Support Group is a registered charity (Reg. Charity Number 20104665). They meet weekly for coffee mornings and organize regular courses and workshops.

Donegal Fibromyalgia Support Group

The Donegal Fibromyalgia Support Group / Fibromates are a registered charity (Reg. Charity Number 20105358) would like to provide strength through reassurance, friendship, comfort and support to all those living with the condition of fibromyalgia both patients and families alike.
Patients and family members welcome. Refreshments provided. Meetings once a month.

Dublin Support Group

Clongriffin Group, Northside, Dublin 13
The aim of this group is to provide an opportunity for people whose lives have been affected by Fibromyalgia to come into contact with people just like them and to share experiences in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Meetings once a month on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm. There is a either a speaker meeting or a general group meeting.
