Losing a pet is never easy under any circumstances but when they've been gone for so long that you start to question if you're ever going to see them again trust me it's a living hell.
When you've done everything possible to find them, searching endlessly for answers, putting your life on hold in the faint hope that the nightmare will be over once and for all is an endless rollercoaster of emotions that nobody should have to endure.
Every lead builds your hopes up, every phone call could be the one you're so desperately waiting for but your hopes get shattered all over again.
The dark days when you wonder if you're ever going to be reunited become more frequent and a cloud hangs over your life - it's all consuming - enough to break the strongest among us!
But there is always hope, we see our babies being reunited every day, the pure unwavering love of dogs who have been gone for so long when they see their families again - they don't forget - the bond a dog has with their owners can't be broken by distance or time so we owe them the same - keep going, keep strong and most of all never give up no matter how dark those clouds become.

A year ago today I published this video and a lot of tears went into it believe me.
Some of these dogs have sadly gone over rainbow bridge, a few have thankfully been found but the biggest majority are still lost or stolen.
Over 400 lost and stolen dogs went into the video and yet this is merely the tip of a very large iceberg these dogs are NOT possessions they are FAMILY.
We have to be their voices, without us they have nothing so please share this video and make it go viral.
I pray that I don't have to post this every year but we will continue to do so until every possible one is home x
