I signed #FernsLaw petition because if my microchipped dog was stolen I would expect the veterinarians to do everything in their power to help me and my dog come back together. I don’t expect half cocked excuses to keep us apart by not checking database registration on new clients! Please sign http://chng.it/Zt48N9qbgZ

’My vet scans my dog at every visit’
- What happens if your dog is lost or stolen and your dog is taken out of your area?
- What happens if your dog is sold on?
- What happens if your dog is found and kept?
- What happens if your dog ends up being a hand in at a rescue?
It is not compulsory to check microchip registration on the original database at a pet’s 1st Vet consultation - Sold on stolen pets or kept by finder pets will not be found and you will not see your dog or cat again!
That‘s why owners of missing microchipped dogs and cats have joined forces for #FernsLaw petition, to make it compulsory to check microchips, otherwise what’s the point in making it compulsory to microchip our dogs? Please sign to help missing pets get back home: http://chng.it/Zt48N9qbgZ
Put yourself in their shoes, imagine their distress!
Responsible pet owner are being let down by the very people who have promoted and sold microchips for our much loved dogs and cats, making untrustworthy claims, as it turns out!
