I find it terribly offensive that a TV show would name itself "Black-ish."

In a day and age where everything is (sadly) looked at so critically under the microscope of skin color, I find it incredible how a TV show with the name "Black-ish" managed to slip itself onto every sort of TV and Computer screen I manage to turn on in the form of advertisement.

"Black-ish" Is the TV show saying "to be black, this is basically what you have to be like" ? If so, that is terribly demeaning to the African American population of America. I find it offensive that the word "Black" is even used at all, taking the place of "African-American-ish." This is an open display of racial stereotyping, and we should demand it changed!


Likewise, can you imagine the uproar if a creative group sat down together to make a TV show, and instead of calling it a creative name like "Full House" they just went the easy route and called it "White-ish" ?!

In this day and age, when everything has to be politically correct and non-offensive, this name "Black-ish" is downright tyranny!
