I sign my name to overturn the decision to terminate Imprint Publications’ lease of 37 years and allow Imprint Publications to stay in the Student Life Centre in its current space.

For Imprint to continue functioning to the best of its ability, including keeping both Feds and the university administration accountable, it must remain in SLC 1116.

Background

Imprint is the official student newspaper at the University of Waterloo. Its lease has been terminated by the student union after 37 years in its office space. We believe it's because of our coverage over the past year and that this is an attack on freedom of the press.
